Six Flags Over Georgia, To Add Dare Devil Dive in 2011

Six Flags Over Georgia is getting its 11th roller coaster for next season, a ride it bills as the park’s first “euro fighter” coaster.

Dare Devil Dive will feature a 10-story vertical lift and a first drop that dives beyond vertical as it plunges. It will be located in the USA section. No other rides will be eliminated. …..Click here to read more

Ed Thomas Family Awarded in the ESPY

The family of Ed Thomas was honored for their courage to forgive when they were given the Arthur Ashe Courage Award in last night’sv ESPY Awards.

Ed Thomas was the high school football coach who was shot and killed in June 2009 by Mark Becker. Becker was Thomas’ former players. Minnesota Vikings Brett Favre gave the award to Thomas’ wife Jan and sons Aaron and Todd. …..Click here to read more

Rock of Ages Perform in America’s Got Talent

The cast of broadway musical “Rock of Ages” performed in last night’s America’s Got Talent results show. Constantine Maroulis of “American Idol” fame, Emily Padgett and James Carpinello were special guests along with Selena Gomez who is promoting her album “A Year Without Rain.” Maroulis will be playing the role of Drew.

George Karl Honored in 2010 ESPY

George Karl was honored last night at the 2010 ESPYs, winning the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance. George Karl was the Denver Nuggets coach who battled throat and neck cancer. This was his second bout with cancer in the last five years.

2010 ESPY Winners

The 2010 ESPY winners were announced Wednesday night at Los Angeles California. The New Orleans Saints won the best team. Saints Coach Sean Payton said in his acceptance speech that the team was playing for the region after the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Payton believed that this is the reason behind their great performance.

2010 ESPY Winners

The 2010 ESPY winners were announced Wednesday night at Los Angeles California. The New Orleans Saints won the best team and the Saints Coach Sean Payton said that the team was playing for the region after the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The Saints’ quarterback, Drew Brees also received four trophies, including the team award. Brees received the male athlete of the year, best championship performance, and best NFL player.

Rizzoli & Isles Debut on TNT

TNT gives its audience another dose of the crime genre sans testosterone in its newest series, Rizzoli & Isles. Jane Rizzoli, the Boston homicide cop who first appeared in Tess Gerritsen novels come to life in the silver screen. Played by Law & Order and Baywatch star Angie Harmon, Jane Rizzoli is paired with the stylish medical coroner, Maura Isles, as they solve crimes. Maura Isles is played by Sasha Alexander of NCIS fame.

Watch Rizzoli & Isles on TNT Mondays at 10 PM.

Minnesota Timberwolves David Kahn said that he has been getting a lot of calls forAl Jefferson. Interest on Al Jefferson has intensified even when he was only averaging 23 points and eleven rebounds because of an injured knee last February 2009.This interest comes because all major free agents were already signed.
