Cincinnati Bengal WR Chris Henry is not dead, contrary to rumors running rampant across the web, but authorities do admit that he is currently in very critical condition.

Chris Henry was critically injured Wednesday when he was thrown off the back of a pick-up truck. His fiancee Loleini Tonga was driving.

Chris Henry was thrown off the back of a pickup truck that fiancee Loleini Tonga was driving Wednesday afternoon. Police authorities are investigating whether or not Henry was thrown off the truck by accident or because of Tonga swerving the vehicle prior. Police say that there was a “domestic situation” just before Henry was thrown off, leading investigators to believe that there might have been harmful intent on Tonga’s part.

Tonga, however, had been questioned and released without being taken into custody, according to a report by TMZ.

Henry is currently battling for his life, according to a statement by his agent Andy Simms. Reports also indicate that homicide investigators have begun investigation into the drama, suggesting that there is a great possibility that Henry might just not make it.
